Applied Engineering is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to join our Antigo, WI team. You will design, program, test, and implement control systems for industrial applications, develop schematics and panel layouts, and lead electrical integration on projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or higher in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Experience reading schematics and ladder logic for industrial controls.
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Specify, design, program, test, and implement electrical components and control systems for industrial applications.
  • Develop and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
  • Design power distribution, switchgear, and protection systems.
  • Program and integrate PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, and servos.
  • Lead electrical integration for new equipment and processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues using diagnostics and instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with electricians, maintenance, production, and contractors.
  • Manage project tasks including quotes, budgets, timelines, and requisitions.
  • Promote safety and proper documentation.
