Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create electrical schematic drawings for industrial control panels using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Develop panel layout / enclosure drawings, including component placement, wire duct and DIN rail layouts, and door/subpanel arrangements.
• Generate reports: bills of material (BOM), wire label reports, terminal plans, and PLC I/O assignments.
• Build and maintain an AutoCAD Electrical component library and title-block/ project templates for consistency across jobs.
• Interpret electrical specifications for water/wastewater applications (pumps, blowers, VFDs, motor starters, PLCs, instrumentation).
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and panel builders to resolve design questions and incorporate revisions.
• Ensure drawings meet applicable standards (UL 508A) and internal drafting conventions.
• Maintain organized drawing files and as-built documentation.

We design and build industrial control panels for water and wastewater treatment systems. We are looking for an Electrical Controls Drafter to produce schematic and panel drawings that drive our panel fabrication.
