Job summary

AISIN World Corp. of America seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer for the Machine & Automation Group (KOKI).

This role will design electrical and control systems for new equipment, overhaul existing machines for new projects, and develop wiring diagrams, BOMs and manuals to support modifications. You will troubleshoot controls, upgrade equipment, lead installation and testing on the production line, and collaborate with vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience with electrical distribution and control systems up to 480 VAC, 3PH.
• Ability to read electrical prints and wire control panels per NFPA 79/70/UL508A.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and controls issues in circuits.
• Execute electrical and control upgrades to equipment.
• Collaborate with electrical technicians on assembly of machines.
• Perform testing of machine components and systems.
• Lead final installation, setup and testing of equipment on production line.
• Prepare engineering design reports, BOMs, and cost estimates.
