Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. is seeking an Electrical Construction Specialist to lead construction coordination for industrial projects in Tennessee.

You will audit safety programs, guide incident investigations, and interface with safety personnel to ensure compliance and safe operations. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of industrial construction coordination experience with an electrical background, and strong communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction coordination and administration experience.
• Electrical background is required.
• No licensing is required for this position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and purchasing systems.

Responsibilities

• Audit contractor safety programs and performance.
• Participate in injury management and incident investigation processes.
• Coordinate with Plant & Engineering Safety Personnel.
• Assure Job Cycle Checks are completed annually for each SOP.
• Assist Contract Administrator to align operations contracts with site strategy.
• Coordinate Continuous Improvement efforts and accept services per SOP.
• Understand scope of work for contracts and communicate hazards and needs.
• Interface with Contractor Management to ensure performance aligns with area expectations.
• Monitor safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Verify receipt of services for contractor staff and assist in resolving claims.
• Prepare for RFP processes and conduct pre-job contract meetings.
• Sign and maintain time sheets, material tickets, and documentation for job tracking.
