IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeks a full-time Electrical Construction Estimator-Data Center in Chester, Virginia.

You will prepare cost estimates for electrical construction projects up to $50M, write proposals, and lead the Proposal Review Process to ensure all documentation is complete before releasing to the customer. • 4 or more years' experience in estimating or cost control and/or engineering in commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Accubid experience.

• Strong computer skills (Excel) and exceptional knowledge/experience utilizing complex project management software.

• Coordinates total estimating effort relevant to particular bid/project as assigned.
• Negotiates with vendors to ensure quality and lowest cost possible on bid items.
• Supports other department personnel as required; may include preparing estimates in other disciplines and assisting Project Managers with start-up and change-order costs.
• Work performed at project location with trips to other projects or offices as required.
