Job summary

Amteck is seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator to join our team at the Lawrenceburg, KY job site. This full-time role involves operating and maintaining various electrical construction machines and would offer opportunities for advancement. Occasional travel is preferred but not required, and prior electrical experience is a plus.

You will work with a safety-conscious crew, perform routine maintenance, and help with general labor tasks as needed to support project success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical construction practices and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical construction equipment, including but not limited to excavators, backhoes, trenchers, and augers.
• Follow project plans and specifications to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and safe operations on the job site.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among the team.
• Assist with general labor duties as needed, including material handling and site cleanup.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and team members to report progress, issues, and concerns.
