Job summary

OLH Inc. in the United States seeks a Construction Discipline Engineer-Electrical for SRMC in Aiken, SC. You will plan and oversee field construction, coordinate with design agencies, and verify constructability against drawings and codes.

Responsibilities include design reviews, material take-offs, BOM development, permit generation, and hazard analysis for a 1-year assignment with renewal options. US citizenship is required and efficient field execution is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of field engineering experience; or an Associate’s degree with 5–10 years in construction engineering; or a high school diploma with 10+ years of experience.
Thorough understanding of Construction Electrical Engineering principles and field application.
Familiar with NEC; able to read schematics and interpret electrical drawings.
Experience with work execution plans, hazards analysis, and material take-off.

Responsibilities

Coordinate design issuance and constructability reviews with design agencies.
Walk down and review designs for constructability and resolve field issues with design engineers.
Inspect materials and workmanship for compliance with drawings, specs, and codes.
Coordinate with quality control to ensure proper installation.
Develop/install work execution plans, permits, and hazard analyses.
Lead field walkthroughs, supplier coordination, and material procurement tasks.
Support turnover activities and field startup checks.
