Job summary

MITRE invites aspiring engineers to join a multidisciplinary team as electrical or computer engineering interns. You will apply academic knowledge and gain hands-on experience across areas such as electronic warfare, communications, embedded systems, prototyping, and maritime systems.

You must be a full-time student enrolled in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related disciplines, and you must remain enrolled for the semester following the internship.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Must continue to be enrolled the semester following the internship.
• Foundational knowledge in electrical and/or computer engineering including relevant tools, methodologies, and programming languages.
• Must have sustained excellence in academic performance.

Responsibilities

• As an electrical or computer engineering intern, you will join a multidisciplinary team to apply your academic knowledge and gain hands-on experience in one or more areas: Electronic Warfare and Signal Processing; Communications and Spectrum Operations; Embedded Systems and Security; Prototyping and Advanced Manufacturing; Maritime Systems Development.
