Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Technician 3 to assist in basic testing, maintenance, and installation of electrical equipment under close supervision. This entry-level role supports more experienced technicians while gaining foundational knowledge and skills for progression.

Responsibilities include testing, wiring, field construction inspection for NETA compliance, and documentation. Must have a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and pass background/drug tests;

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 5+ years of related experience.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights up to 60 feet.
• Strong English communication and safety awareness (LOTO).

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing and maintenance of site equipment.
• Support installation, rearrangement, and removal of equipment and wiring.
• Perform basic testing, moving, and adjustments of equipment.
• Maintain records and report inspection activities.
• Assist field construction inspections for NETA compliance.
• Prepare equipment for testing under supervision.
• Operate load banks with PPE.
• Participate in Operational Risk Management meetings.
