M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Technician 1 to support basic testing, maintenance, and installation of electrical equipment under supervision.

The role involves assisting more experienced technicians while gaining foundational knowledge for progression. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with two years of related experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of experience or equivalent training.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing and maintenance of site/field equipment.
• Support installation, rearrangement, and removal of equipment and wiring.
• Perform basic testing, moving, and adjustments of equipment.
• Assist in field construction inspection to ensure NETA conformity.
• Maintain records and report inspection activities.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and basic math/measurement tasks.
• Prep equipment for testing under supervision of commissioning lead.
• Assist in operating load banks and equipment with PPE.
• Participate in Operational Risk Management meetings.
