Job summary

The Superior Group is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support Field and Project Operations from a job site in Jeffersonsville, Ohio. You will develop MOPs, assist with LOTO planning, and ensure systems are prepared for safe energization.

Based in Ohio, this full-time role requires experience with electrical building systems, quality control, and NFPA/ NEC/70E codes. You will coordinate with manufacturers, owners, and project teams to drive commissioning success.

Qualifications

Experience in design, construction, and installation of electrical building systems.
Experience in quality control, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Strong understanding of medium and low voltage power distribution systems.
Experience with NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70E and other applicable codes and standards.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Develop energization and electrical performance methods and procedures (MOPs).
Support LOTO planning and energized work coordination.
Lead portions of pre-energization readiness reviews.
Identify and communicate risks related to startup and system integration.
Track commissioning progress and support issue resolution.
Support quality assurance and commissioning efforts at project sites.
Collaborate with manufacturers, distributors, and testing partners.
Interface with owners, construction managers, and project stakeholders to address technical questions and remediate issues.
