Job summary

Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Electrical CAD Design Intern for Summer 2027. You will help establish, maintain, and improve design standards and tools while contributing to project success, with opportunities to develop in 3D modeling and electrical deliverables.

The role requires familiarity with 3D CAD tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment within the Drafting & Design department.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Design or Drafting Technology or related field.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, AutoCAD MEP or Navisworks.
• Ability to work in 3D and communicate via email and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for electrical deliverables.
• Maintain master drawing set with current revisions.
• Assist with RFIs/ECNs and as-builts for conformance.
• Support project meetings and design reviews.
