Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. in Salt Lake City is seeking an Electrical Revit Operator to join our VDC/Preconstruction team. This full-time role involves creating high-quality BIM models and shop drawings for construction, collaborating with engineers, project managers, and contractors.

You will develop BIM models for electrical systems, participate in BIM execution planning, and help maintain project standards while supporting a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM software (Revit, Navisworks or Revizto) required.
• Experience with electrical systems and ability to read single-line diagrams.
• Strong listening, understanding, and response to diverse perspectives.
• Think critically, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions.
• Experience working with cloud-based BIM models.
• MS Office (Word, Excel) proficiency.
• Autodesk certification or an associate degree in AutoCAD/Revit drafting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models of electrical systems.
• Follow BIM Execution Plan and project standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, BIM/Rev operators, PMs and owners to resolve conflicts.
• Produce accurate construction drawings and plan sets.
• Support development and maintenance of project standards.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
• Maintain regular attendance and on-time work hours.
• Self-starter and flexible to other duties as assigned.
