Job summary

Kearney Electric, LLC is seeking a BIM Lead to support electrical projects by producing information models and coordinating BIM designs across design-build and construction workflows.

The ideal candidate will translate 2D drawings into 3D/4D/5D models, manage multiple BIM projects, enforce company BIM standards, and collaborate with estimating, project management, operations, and fabrication teams. Electrical/Construction experience required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Certifications in CAD/3D drafting a plus.
• Electrical/Construction industry experience required.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate 2D drawings and specifications into a complete 3D/4D/5D model for projects across the company for efficiency and productivity gains.
• Extract quantities and identify clash detection and resolution; develop construction drawings and as-built documents.
• Coordinate and manage multiple BIM projects and workflows; enforce BIM standards across the company.
• Lead training to promote modeling tools and drive digital information plans and strategies.
