Viracon is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join the Tech 13 team on the night shift in Owatonna, MN. The role offers a pay range of $38+ per hour, with experience-based advancement and a stable schedule.

You’ll read blueprints, install and repair wiring and lighting, inspect components, and troubleshoot independently while supporting maintenance and continuous improvement efforts. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Electrician license.
• Two year degree in electronics with 3+ years of electrical/electronic experience OR 4+ years related field experience.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Experience operating power tools safely.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Solid communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild equipment independently.

Shift: Monday–Wednesday 6:00 PM–6:00 AM + every other Thursday

Pay Range: $38+/hour depending on experience

What You’ll Do
