As a member of the Çimsa Americas, you will be responsible for:
- Reconstructing, repairing, disassembling, and assembling electrical systems, PLC equipment, automation systems, switch cabinets, circuit breakers, controllers, encoders, fuses, sensors, load cells, motors, switches, converters, transformers, etc.
- Performing electrical testing and calibration.
- Performing routine preventative maintenance.
- Ensuring proper and safe operation of equipment.
- Identifying faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
- Determining the need for immediate maintenance action and taking appropriate response.
- Attending daily meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
- Assessment of the condition of used parts.
- Maintenance of parts and tools inventory.
- Preparation of maintenance reports as required.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in tools, equipment, and work areas, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Interaction with vendors and outside service providers.
- Using PC and PLC programming to troubleshoot process control issues for automated machinery.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
- Experience as an industrial electrician.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of electrical installation tools, hand tools, power tools, cranes, and industrial equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of AC Motor and VFD systems, Power Distribution and Motor Control Systems, Transformers, contactors, breakers, motors, encoders, Instrumental Systems – sensors and instruments.
- Understanding PLC (Rockwell/Allen Bradley with Studio5000 is a plus) systems.
- Ability to identify colored cables by sight.
- Good understanding of blueprints, single line diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic equipment (hydraulic diagrams, drawing interpretation; hydraulic filtration, conditioning systems; directional, proportional and servo valve systems).
- Knowledge of lubrication theory and systems (grease types for complex applications; force and/or positive grease and oil systems).
- Oil analysis and interpretation of oil analysis results.
