Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) in Brookston, Indiana designs, builds and deploys custom electrical switchgear and controls for the power generation industry. The Assembly Technician performs wiring, assembly, and installation work on assigned switchgear following schedules, safety protocols, and procedures to ensure quality and reliability.

The role requires basic shop skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a focus on teamwork, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 year in mechanical assembly/mechanical repair or associated field.
• Satisfactory completion of additional background screening (if applicable).
• Valid driver’s license
• Preferred certifications (OSHA10, CPR)

Responsibilities

• Proper utilization of all common, electrical, and carpentry shop tools
• Assembly of electrical sheet metal enclosures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary or other assigned duties
