Job summary

The Village Companies - MCL Industries Division is seeking a Production Technician in Pulaski, Wisconsin to assemble, test, and inspect electrical components and assemblies. You’ll follow standard work, meet safety standards, and support production goals in a fast-paced plant environment.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work with teamwork and independence. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and 5S/lean

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and specifications.
• Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring practices.
• Ability to use measuring devices and inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable: must have excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components, harnesses, switches, modules, and related products according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
• Perform soldering, crimping, wiring, and mechanical assembly operations as required.
• Operate production equipment, hand tools, power tools, and testing devices safely and efficiently.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify product quality and compliance with specifications.
• Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of electrical assemblies.
• Identify and report quality concerns, equipment malfunctions, and safety issues.
• Complete production documentation, quality records, and work orders accurately.
• Maintain workstations using 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members, quality personnel, maintenance technicians, and supervisors to meet production schedules.
