Job summary

TLD, a leading manufacturer of Ground Support Equipment, is hiring an Electrical Assembler to wire and assemble electrical components from drawings. You will interpret schematics, use hand tools, and ensure quality while meeting production targets.

The role requires experience with industrial electrical systems, ability to work safely in manufacturing environments, and willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift in Windsor, CT.

Qualifications

  • Experience in assembling industrial electrical components and wiring instruments.
  • Ability to interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality products efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical components and wiring per drawings and specs.
  • Operate and maintain equipment with safety as a priority.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the work area and log daily production travel records.
  • Collaborate with team/shift to meet production targets.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Experience in the assembly of industrial electrical components, wiring of instruments and units, and the use of all equipment associated with the satisfactory performance of duties.Able to produce high quality products and expected quantities in an efficient amount of time.The ability to move safely over uneven terrain as well as restricted spaces.The ability to climb ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.The ability to kneel, bend, and stand for long periods.The ability to work in and around areas with limited space.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to use, read, and interpret drawings, measuring scale and tape proficiency.1 year experience preferred.Ability to work in a team or solo environment.Familiarity with tablets and computers.SHIFTS AVAILABLE:1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:30am-3:00pmor2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:00pm-11:30pm (7% Shift Differential)EDUCATION:High school diploma or equivalent.The Company is committed to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information assets in alignment with ISO 27001.
