Job summary

American Products in Strafford, MO is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to perform wiring and component installation on shelters and enclosures. You’ll read blueprints and diagrams, test wiring, and troubleshoot to ensure quality.

You’ll work with hand and power tools, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and rotate between stations to support production. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and 2–3 years of related experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years electrical or manufacturing experience (or related training/certification).
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and shop documentation.
• Ability to read a tape measure and work with precision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with a professional, dependable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical wiring and component installation on shelters and enclosures.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions.
• Test finished wiring and troubleshoot as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools to assemble products.
• Inspect materials and finished work for quality standards.
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Rotate between workstations as needed to support production.
