The role reports to the Production Supervisor or Lead and requires precise wiring per engineering drawings and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. You'll interpret schematics, use hand tools, and perform testing and inspection to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electromechanical and manufacturing assembly experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience with wire harnesses and subassemblies.
• Proficient with hand tools: wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, soldering irons.
• Detail-oriented with reliable problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electromechanical subassemblies.
• Adhere to IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards.
• Perform testing procedures and inspect finished work.
• Report defects to Lead or Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and proper tools.

Electrical Assembler III

Full Time Chatsworth, CA, US

Salary Range: $26.00 To $27.00 Hourly

Hydraulics International, Inc. (HII) is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to build high-reliability wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electromechanical systems. Reporting to the Production Supervisor or Lead, the Electrical Assembler will execute precision wiring and subassembly per engineering drawings, work instructions, and industry standards.

Key Performance Deliverables

• Precision Build: Assemble complex wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electromechanical subassemblies (including motors, sensors, and solenoids).
• Quality Compliance: Adhere strictly to company workmanship standards and IPC/WHMA-A-620 requirements.
• Testing & Inspection: Execute established testing procedures, inspect finished work, and spot basic assembly or functional flaws.
• Defect Reporting: Escalate defective materials, process bottlenecks, or test failures immediately to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Workplace Stewardship: Maintain a clean, organized, safe workspace and keep hand tools/equipment in proper working order.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2+ years of electromechanical and manufacturing assembly experience.
• Technical Reading: Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and written/verbal work instructions.
• Tool Proficiency: Practical skill using hand tools including wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, and soldering irons.
• Execution & Mindset: Strong attention to detail, consistent accuracy, and dependable problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork: Reliable attendance, transparent communication, and a positive team-first attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods during the workday.
• Regularly use hands, fingers, and arms for dexterous assembly and tool operation.
• Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and execute repetitive physical movements.
• Safely lift up to 40 lbs and transport materials/parts as needed.
• Thrive safely in a standard manufacturing and production floor environment.

Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm

Salary Expectations:

$26-$27hourly
