Job summary

The Marvin Group, based in Southern California near LAX, seeks an Assembly Technician to join our team building electrical components such as harnesses, power supplies, and switches. You will follow blueprints and job orders, perform wiring and soldering, and ensure on-time delivery with quality standards.

Read specifications, set up equipment, and work under safety rules and company policies. This role offers growth with leadership and exposure to defense programs across multiple divisions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read technical procedures, drawings, specifications, and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP software; SAP ERP experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must be able to speak/read/write English.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Develop your assembly skills and grow with the support of your leadership team.
  • Perform other related duties as may be required.

SCOPE

Be part of a team that is engaged in assembly and testing of electrical components for example harnesses, power supplies, mechanical assemblies, capacitors, and switches, applying knowledge of assembly techniques, equipment setup, and testing procedures.
