Job summary

Zobility in Foley, AL is seeking an Electrical/Electromechanical Assembler to build wire harnesses according to blueprints by connecting and twisting wires. You will use hand and power tools, perform continuity checks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities include following written instructions, adhering to quality standards, and participating in CI activities to improve processes. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience reading instructions, drawings, or blueprints to assemble harnesses.
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed written instructions.
  • Experience with hand tools, electrical tools, pneumatic tools, wire cutters, pliers, and heat guns.

Job description

  • Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical Assemblers, Except Coil Winders, Tapers, and Finishers LL.US.51-2028, build wire harnesses to blueprint by connecting and twisting wires as required, spects, test for continuity.

Responsibilities:

  • Use various hand/power tools and other assembly equipment
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Perform continuity checks on the electrical harnesses.
  • Participate in compliance inspection Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Safely perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience working from written instructions, drawings, blue-prints, schematics, illustrations and/or process documentation to assemble a wide variety of electrical harnesses and subassemblies.
  • Able to understand and follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
  • Experience with any of the following: hand tools, electrical tools, pneumatic tools, wire
  • cutters, pliers, heat guns and precision measuring equipment.
