Job summary

Amteck is seeking a skilled Apprenticeship Program Manager to support employee development through the administration and growth of the registered apprenticeship program. You will enroll, guide, and track apprentices, ensuring progress and DOL compliance across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical construction, NEC knowledge, and strong communication. Travel to job sites and offices is expected; experience in training delivery is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the NEC.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently to job sites and offices.
  • Experience delivering training, mentoring, or instructional content preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Passion for employee development and helping others succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Amteck's registered apprenticeship program.
  • Serve as the primary resource for apprentices, providing guidance, support, and communication throughout the program.
  • Monitor apprentice progress and maintain compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) requirements.
  • Coordinate enrollment, documentation, OJT tracking, and program records.
  • Partner with supervisors and field leadership to support apprentice engagement, development, and retention.
  • Travel to job sites and regional offices to conduct field visits, training sessions, and apprentice check-ins.
  • Evaluate and improve program processes, materials, and overall effectiveness.
  • Support broader training and development initiatives, including technical and professional training programs.
  • Assist with learning management systems, training content administration, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Promote a culture of learning, accountability, and professional growth aligned with Amteck's core values.

Position Summary

The Apprenticeship Program Manager plays a key role in supporting Amteck's employee development initiatives through the administration and growth of the registered apprenticeship program. This position is responsible for ensuring apprentices are enrolled, engaged, progressing through training, and meeting all program requirements.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for apprentices, collaborate closely with field leadership, and help strengthen training and development efforts across the organization.
