Lane Valente Industries, a leading international construction and facility maintenance company with offices across the U.S. and Canada, is seeking an Electrician Apprentice.

This entry-level role supports journeymen by handling materials, assisting with trades tasks, and keeping the shop and field sites organized. Ideal candidates will have basic electrical knowledge, reliable transportation, and a valid state driver's license.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to job sites and shop.
• Basic tools required for electricians' tasks.
• Some electrical knowledge is helpful for learning on the job.
• A valid state driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Gathers tools and supplies at the work site.
• Measures, cuts, and bends wire and conduit.
• Drills holes for wiring and pulls or pushes wiring through openings.
• Traces out short circuits in wiring.
• Assists in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit, and motors.
• Performs minor repairs such as replacing fuses, sockets, bulbs, and switches.
• Maintains tools and equipment and keeps supplies in order.
• Disassembles defective electrical equipment and reassembles it after repair.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Performs other routine duties.
