Job summary

Coolray Electrical, part of Coolray Companies, is seeking an Apprentice Electrician in the Atlanta area to assist senior electricians with installations, repairs, and service calls. You'll learn the trade while working safely and adhering to local and national codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months to one year of experience as an apprentice or helper electrician preferred.
• Residential and/or light commercial electrical experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and develop electrical trade skills through hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Electricians with troubleshooting and accurately and efficiently diagnosing electrical problems.
• Learn to provide written and verbal recommendations for electrical repairs and replacements.
• Develop strong customer service and communication skills while delivering a professional customer experience.
• Assist with the repair and replacement of electrical components, including light fixtures, switches and receptacles, circuit wiring, circuit breakers, breaker and fuse panels, and electrical service and metering equipment.
• Perform routine electrical maintenance inspections under the direction of Senior Electricians.
• Safely access areas of buildings being serviced, including crawl spaces, attics, and other confined or difficult-to-reach areas.
