Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Apprentice in Washington, DC. You will be paired with a licensed journeyman and gain hands-on training to become an electrician while contributing to multifamily and commercial installations.

You will participate in an apprenticeship program, attend required classes, and progress toward becoming a licensed electrician, with a competitive hourly pay and strong company values guiding growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to enroll and participate in an electrical apprenticeship program.
• Able to physically perform essential functions.
• Willing to learn electrical codes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partnered with a licensed journeyman electrician to complete on-the-job training (OJT).
• Assist with electrical installations of multifamily and commercial projects.
• Learn and perform all scopes of large-scale projects, from distribution to rough in, trim and deck work.
• Participate in apprenticeship program and attend required classes.
• Pay range for this role is $20.00–$34.00 per hour.
