Job summary

Strada Services in Florida is seeking an Electrical Service Apprentice/Helper to assist Service Technicians on electrical projects. You will help install electrical systems both indoors and outdoors, work under a Supervisor or Service Coordinator, and perform duties promptly while following safety procedures.

The role requires the ability to lift and handle heavy tools, pass background checks, and commit to a 40-hour workweek with potential overtime in the greater Orlando area.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation to/from the assigned job site in the greater Orlando area.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must pass a full background check, drug test and DMV.
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week, including overtime if required.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous electrical experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.
• Work in confined attic or crawl spaces.
• This is an hourly position requiring the employee to record the working hours on a personal smart phone app.
