Job summary

Sunrun seeks an Electrical Trainee to support Foreman and Electricians on residential solar installations. The role provides hands-on electrical assistance, supervises safety practices, and collaborates with lead installers to complete mechanical portions of projects.

Responsibilities include assisting with interconnection to the grid, troubleshooting, racking assembly, trenching, and site cleanup. A high school diploma and NEC knowledge are required, with a valid driver's license and strong

• Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of electrical systems that interconnect the solar array to the grid power of the customer’s residential property.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of system problems and help resolve electrical issues.
• Assemble the racking and solar array when assigned.
• Trenching, concrete work and equipment assembly.
• Project clean up including client site and installation vehicle.
• Ensure attention to detail with an emphasis on safety, quality, customer service, and productivity.
