Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years nuclear or related engineering experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
• Professional Engineer Registration (PE) is preferred; electrical engineering background is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analyses, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems as a SME.
• Lead short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations with engineering leadership accountability.
• Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria and codes.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs or comply with changes in codes.
• Support outage activities and provide coverage as needed by management.
