Responsibilities

• B.S. in Electrical or Chemical engineering or related degree with 3-10 years of instrumentation and electrical experience
• Working knowledge of the maintenance and engineering of field instrumentation/Electrical devices, analog and digital controls, distributed and computer‑controlled systems and programmable logic controllers (PLC)
• Exceptional instrumentation and electrical field hardware knowledge as well as a working knowledge of process and operations
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code, power distribution up to 480V, and 480 V/2300V/4160V motor control
• Working knowledge of DCS (Provox, Delta V), and PLC configuration
• Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function as a team member
• Problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) with ability to communicate at all levels of employees as well as external vendors
• Ability to interact with management in various departments for coordinating and complying with approved standards and policies
• Ability and willingness to travel, when required
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours and provide call‑in coverage, when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an industrial chemical complex.
