Electric Pallet Jack Operator

Location: Lebanon, TN
Pay Rate: $23.50 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule: first shift 4O10 (7am - 5:30pm) , second shift Mon - Fri 6pm 2:30am

Job Duties

• Operate an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) safely and efficiently.
• Pick customer orders based on RF scanner or pick tickets.
• Accurately locate, select, and move products within the warehouse.
• Build and organize pallets for shipment.
• Verify product quantities and item numbers to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Report equipment issues, damages, or safety concerns to management

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse or powered industrial equipment training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating electric pallet jacks or similar powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to transport, stage, load, and unload materials throughout warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment inspections.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping labels, and warehouse locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience using electric pallet jacks, forklifts, RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, order picking, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, productivity, teamwork, and inventory accuracy are well positioned for success as an Electric Pallet Jack Operator.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically active warehouse work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate powered material handling equipment while maintaining awareness of surrounding warehouse traffic.
• Ability to work in fast-paced warehouse environments while following established safety procedures.
• Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack for long periods.
• Ability to move pallets weighing several hundred pounds using powered equipment.
