Job summary

NextDeavor is seeking a Senior Warehouse Associate - Case Picker to support on-site operations at our Carson, CA facility. You will receive, offload, and load freight, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate picking, packing, labeling, and documentation for outbound loads.

You will work with cross-functional teams to meet KPIs, adhere to SOPs, and maintain safe, organized warehouse conditions. Prior experience with WMS and Bills of Lading is beneficial.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Minimum 6 months of warehouse operations experience (site-specific).
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, frequently bend/twist/reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Receive, offload, and load vehicles and containers; check paperwork and report discrepancies or damages.
• Operate warehouse equipment including stand-up/sit-down forklifts and riding pallet jacks.
• Pick, pack, palletize, stretch-wrap, and label outbound loads; prepare ULDs and sign Bills of Lading.
• Stage and organize cargo in the warehouse and maintain inventory records using site-specific WMS or booking sheets.
• Follow site SOPs, perform weekly bond checks, and maintain housekeeping standards.

### Become a Key Player as a Senior Warehouse Associate - Case PickerYou will help the team ensure accurate and timely movement of freight through the warehouse, directly impacting on-time shipments and customer satisfaction. You will work onsite on the 1st shift at the Carson, CA warehouse and collaborate with cross-functional warehouse teams, supervisors, and logistics coordinators to meet KPIs and maintain SOPs.### Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team- Receive, offload, and load vehicles and containers; check paperwork and report discrepancies or damages- Operate warehouse equipment including stand-up/sit-down forklifts and riding pallet jacks- Pick, pack, palletize, stretch-wrap, and label outbound loads; prepare ULDs and sign off Bills of Lading- Stage and organize cargo in the warehouse and maintain accurate inventory records using site-specific WMS or booking sheets- Execute customer-specific SOPs, perform weekly bond checks, and follow DFT and bonded freight procedures as required- Maintain housekeeping standards and support process improvement and efficiency efforts- Assist with training new staff and help develop/update SOPs### Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role- At least 18 years old- Minimum 6 months of prior warehouse operations experience (site-specific experience noted)- Ability to stand/walk for long periods, frequently bend/twist/reach, and periodically lift up to 50 lbs- Willingness to work flexible hours/days as required by the site### Here's What Else Might Help You Out- High school diploma or GED- Previous external warehouse or freight forwarder experience- Familiarity with Bills of Lading, shipping manifests, delivery orders- Ability to speak Spanish### Pay Range$20.63/hour### Ready to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
