Job summary

Adams Electric Company in Hamlet, NC seeks an electrical helper to assist electricians with the installation of electrical systems and components. You will work with tools, install conduit, wire, junction boxes, electrical lighting and other labor activities as assigned.

Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow the Adams Safety Program. Strong teamwork, dependability, and willingness to learn are essential, as is the ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED or equivalent.
• Previous electrical work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and start with the basics of the electrical trade.
• Bend and install conduit systems and pull wire.
• Install light fixtures and connect to branch power.
• Provide assistance to more skilled workers in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
