Job summary

Port Jersey Logistics Network in Baytown, TX is seeking a forklift operator to load and unload materials, move them to storage areas, and support daily warehouse operations. The role requires 2+ years of electric forklift, reach-truck, stand-up and pallet jack experience, and proficiency with an RF scanner. OSHA forklift certification is preferred but not required.

A clean driving record may be required. The position involves routine equipment checks, safe handling, adherence to inventory

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of Electric forklift, Reach-Truck, Stand up and electric pallet jack experience.
• Must be able to operate a RF scanner.
• Clean driving record and a valid license may be required.
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards preferred but not required.
• Reach-truck experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain shipping or receiving schedule and move materials to designated areas.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles.
• Move goods around storage facility.
• Stack goods in storage bays according to inventory control.
• Check loads are secure.
• Stack empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks (recharge battery, lubricate equipment).
• Remove machine attachments and waste material.
• Inspect products for conformance to quality standards.
• Dispose materials into machine hopper.
