Job summary

Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC is seeking a System Service Representative to handle meter service orders, including disconnections, reconnections, and installations across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Role requires advanced skills for switching at meters, weatherheads, or transformers, and may involve bucket trucks and pole climbing. Strong safety awareness and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Texas driver's license is required.
• Experience as Electric Field Service Representative is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Complete service orders for disconnection, reconnection, installation, reading, and investigation of meters and service.
• Use advanced skills to cut or reconnect electric service at weatherheads, poles, or transformers.
• Complete orders safely within prescribed timeframes across a large geographic area.
• Operate a bucket truck and perform pole-climbing activities.
• Evaluate premises for proper metering and detect energy diversion due to faulty wiring or metering.
• Perform all essential job functions and other duties as assigned.
