Job summary

Asplundh Engineering Services is seeking a Drafter with 0–3 years of utility drafting experience for distribution projects. The role is based in Bothell, WA, with growth opportunities within AES and the broader Asplundh organization.

The Drafter will support engineers and project managers, perform site visits, take measurements, and ensure designs meet utility, federal, and state standards. Responsibilities include taking projects from scope to construction and coordinating with multiple

Qualifications

0–3 years’ relevant work experience OR bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, or related discipline.
AutoCAD experience required.
Valid driver’s license + reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

Apply engineering and design methods to ensure quality deliverables for the customer.
Conduct site visits, take measurements, utilize utility programs/data centers in support of projects, ensuring compliance with standards.
Identify project scope and decide actions to meet requirements and deadlines.
Facilitate communication between service providers and internal/external customers, including technical guidance to the project manager.
Respond to customer concerns and collaborate toward resolution.
Perform other duties as assigned.
