Job summary

Bergelectric Corp. is seeking a Material Handler - Logistics Management in Denver, CO to support loading, unloading and transporting materials to and from jobsites. This safety-sensitive role involves interacting with clients and crews, and may require equipment certification.

A 40-hour week with potential overtime is typical. Responsibilities include assisting electricians, delivering materials, and complying with codes while handling various tools and cleaning up on site.

Qualifications

  • Under the direction of the project foreman, receive, organize, and safely deliver material to the workforce.
  • Clean and dispose of trash as directed by supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist electricians during the installation of new electrical systems or repair and maintain electrical systems.
  • May be required to obtain equipment certification to operate material handling equipment.
  • May be submitted as an approved Bergelectric driver to receive and deliver materials.
  • They must be in compliance with state and local codes.
  • Must interact with clients, vendors, and Bergelectric employee in a professional manor.
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools, helper electricians productively and safely install electrical and low voltage material.
  • Duties include cleanup activity, gathering and transporting materials and tools to electricians on the construction project.
