Job summary

BETA Technologies is seeking a motivated Material Handler for logistics and warehousing at our Vermont facility. The role focuses on forklift operations, material movement via WMS, cycle counts, kitting, and staging for production across receiving, bulk storage, and shipping areas.

The ideal candidate is forklift-qualified with inventory and logistics experience, familiar with ERP systems, and capable of working across multiple sites in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Forklift power lifting equipment experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (PLEX, Oracle, SAP).
• Familiarity with Google G-Suite (Drive, Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets).

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift during routine duties.
• Unload, inspect, and stage inbound materials for receiving activities.
• Break down inbound received materials for bulk storage.
• Complete put-away transactions from staging to bulk storage locations.
• Replenish items for production by picking components from bulk storage to stage for kitting and production jobs.
• Execute kitting of components for delivery to production work centers.
• Move completed assemblies and finished goods from the production area to bulk storage.
• Pick items from bulk storage to stage for shipment to other BETA locations and customers.
• Load outbound items onto trucks for shipment.
• Ensure all items are labeled and scanned via WMS handheld devices.
• Troubleshoot WMS issues to ensure accurate replenishment signals.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and physical inventories as directed.
• Identify, segregate, and transact inventory status for damaged materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with 5S principles.
• Conduct area housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Ability to work across multiple BETA sites if necessary.
• Support Logistics and Production Teams as needed.
