Job summary

Steve & Kate's in New York City is seeking staff to chaperone field trips and engage campers on bus routes, while fostering safety, creativity, and a playful learning environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have at least 2 months of experience with camp-age children (1 year preferred), and hold First Aid & CPR before Day 1. Hourly pay ranges from $18.50 to $21.00, based on prior experience, with deadline Dec 31, 2026.

Field Trip Hours: 8:45am - 5:45pm

Hourly Wage: $18.50 - $21.00 (determined using prior experience)

Job Responsibilities:

Staff members will be responsible for chaperoning field trips, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness. You’ll travel by bus to multiple stops, all while having fun with kids.

Job Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp–age children, with 1 year preferred, in either a professional, personal or volunteer setting.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)
