Job summary

Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Office of Executive Investigations seeks an Inspector to oversee election fraud investigations in Miami. The role requires handling complex cases and coordinating with state agencies, officials, and election authorities.

This full-time position emphasizes investigative excellence and adherence to policy within a 50-mile relocational requirement. Minimum qualifications include five years of sworn investigative experience (special agent experience preferred)

Qualifications

• Five years of sworn law enforcement or sworn investigative experience, one of which must have been as a Special Agent with FDLE.
• College education can substitute at 30 semester or 45 quarter hours per year for up to three years of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and investigate complex election fraud/election crime investigations from multiple origins.
• Resolve complaints not immediately subject to investigation by the Office of Executive Investigations and support Public Corruption work.
• Coordinate with Florida Department of State and Supervisors of Elections as needed.
