Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking an experienced attorney to manage probate administration and estate planning for clients in West Palm Beach, Florida. You will counsel families, draft wills and trusts, and navigate Florida probate procedures with empathy and precision.

This hybrid role starts with a few days in the office and offers increasing flexibility as you settle in with the team. Active Florida Bar membership and 1+ year probate/estate planning experience are required; elder law exposure is

• 1+ year of attorney experience in probate administration and estate planning.
• Hands-on experience counseling clients and drafting estate planning documents.
• Strong understanding of Florida probate procedures.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and client service skills.
• Elder law, guardianship, Medicaid planning, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating with a legal team.

Responsibilities

• Manage probate administration matters from opening through completion with client updates.
• Counsel clients regarding estate planning strategies based on goals and assets.
• Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and directives.
• Guide beneficiaries and executors through Florida probate procedures.
• Communicate directly with clients and develop long-term relationships.
• Handle filings, deadlines, document preparation, and coordination.

Location

This is a hybrid opportunity based in West Palm Beach, Florida. We expect a few days per week in the office initially, with additional flexibility available as you become established in the role and with our team.

Note

Candidates must be active members of the Florida Bar and have at least 1+ year of directly relevant attorney experience involving both probate administration and estate planning. Experience with elder law, guardianship, or Medicaid planning is highly valued.
