Samaritan Summit Village in Watertown Center is seeking a dedicated Recreation Therapist to enrich daily life for residents. This full-time role involves delivering engaging activities, promoting wellness, and collaborating with care teams on individualized plans.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, experience in personal care and behavior management, and understanding the needs of elderly long-term care residents; an Associates degree is preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have experience in personal care skills, body mechanics, behavior management.
• CPR certified.
• Associates degree in related field preferred or relevant equivalent work experience.
• Must have a willingness and aptitude for working with a variety of people.
• Must have a basic understanding of the needs of the elderly and those in needs of long term care services.
• Demonstrates above average imagination, creativity, spirit of cooperation and friendly personality are required.
