Rubbercraft in Long Beach, CA is seeking an NPI Manufacturing Engineer III to join our team. This role supports new product introduction, process development, and production readiness for rubber and elastomer-based products.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, cost, and schedule targets are met. Ideal candidates have a background in manufacturing engineering, NPI, and experience with rubber processes such as compression molding, transfer molding, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant manufacturing/NP I engineering experience.
• Experience supporting new product introduction and production launch.
• Experience developing manufacturing methods, production controls, and documentation.
• Knowledge of rubber manufacturing processes is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support new product introduction and process development for rubber products.
• Define manufacturing processes, equipment needs, and production controls.
• Develop and transfer products into production with cross-functional teams.
• Support phase gates, risk reviews, and documentation for launches.
• Collaborate with design engineering for manufacturability and cost optimization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process validation.
