Job summary

SERVISS LLC is seeking an Elastic Security Engineer to support a Federal DoD SIEM program. This hands-on role designs, builds, and maintains Elastic Stack enterprise solutions (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, ML) with Ansible automation in a Federal DoD environment.

You will normalize data, create pipelines, and author SOPs for tool optimization. The successful candidate will work within a multi‑disciplined team, engage across engineering and customer stakeholders, and contribute to new

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• US citizenship required.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification prior to start date.
• At least 4 years hands-on experience with Elastic Stack for security/logging use cases.
• Experience with full Elastic Stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, ML, REST API integration.
• Ability to use Ansible playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, secure, maintain, optimize, and document Elastic Stack solutions in a Federal DoD environment.
• Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible playbooks.
• Perform data normalization across diverse sources.
• Build data pipelines and reporting automation for internal and external requirements.
• Author SOPs and workflows to optimize tool usage.
