Qualifications

• Hands-on Elastic Stack engineering experience.
• Languages like Python, C++, JavaScript and PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with security features and data ingestion pipelines.
• Familiarity with Linux administration and scripting.
• Ability to work with senior engineers in a collaborative environment.
• Citizen eligible for government background investigations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing Elastic Security features (RBAC, TLS) under guidance.
• Support cybersecurity event analysis, changes, and performance issues.
• Help develop ingestion pipelines, parsers, enrichment workflows, telemetry normalization.
• Deploy and configure Elasticsearch clusters across VA enclaves and cloud.
• Troubleshoot ingestion, performance, and observability alerts with escalation.
• Contribute to compliance validation and continuous monitoring activities.
• Create technical documentation, procedures, and training materials.
• Provide Tier 2-3 troubleshooting and learn from senior engineers.
