Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establishes and adjusts instructional goals reflecting district and school objectives.
• Designs lessons that promote problem solving, creativity, and real-world communication.
• Sets clear behavioral standards to foster self-discipline and positive relationships.
• Pursues ongoing professional development in content and pedagogy.
• Plans activities addressing diverse student needs.
• Develops, administers, and evaluates formative and summative assessments.
• Monitors student progress per district curriculum and goals.
• Involves parents and community members to support instruction.
• Involves parents in assessing student progress and needs.
• Required to teach a high school communications/ethics class.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
