Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio teaching license and relevant reading credentials.
• Experience using student data to guide instructional planning.
• Knowledge of ReadOhio coaching framework and data-driven coaching.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a tiered coaching model for ELA teachers using data to drive coaching focus.
• Provide coaching grounded in the science of reading with data-informed plans.
• Support lunchtime intervention data management and analysis for identified students.
• Conduct fall, mid-year, and spring learning walks and adjust coaching intensity.
• Maintain coaching logs per ReadOhio requirements and document sessions.
• Administer and analyze progress checks to monitor growth on standards.
• Lead cross-school data conversations to align vertical literacy goals.
• Attend weekly 1:1 meetings and biweekly Admin Team meetings.
• Participate in ReadOhio coach training and related data collection activities.
• Prepare an end-of-year summary report with growth data and recommendations.
