Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking an EKG Technician to perform routine electrocardiography, holter monitoring, and stress testing. The role involves collecting information for test interpretation and caring for patients of varying ages.

The ideal candidate will have CPR training, high school completion with medical assisting training, and strong communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred to support diverse patients.

• Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of an EKG Technician.
• Comprehensive knowledge of routine Electrocardiography, holters, exercise and pharmacological stress testing.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Performs routine electrocardiography, holter monitoring, technically competent of exercise and pharmacologic stress testing and other special procedures. Collects information pertinent to the interpretation of the test. Provides care to patients of varying ages and age-related needs.

Required Skills:
