Mercy is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech in Fort Smith, AR to perform EKGs, apply and monitor cardiac devices, and handle general office duties. You will set up and maintain EKG equipment, run cardiovascular tests, identify heart rhythms, and communicate clearly with physicians and patients.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and strong reading and spoken English, plus basic computer skills. Experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided on site.

Formación

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English; basic computer knowledge.

Position Details:

The Cardiovascular Tech is responsible for performing of EKG's, application and processing of cardiac monitors and general office duties.. Their primary duties include setting up and maintaining EKG equipment, performing cardiovascular tests, identifying heart rhythms , and effectively communicating with physicians and patients.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure:
• Experience:
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge.
• Preferred Education:
• Preferred Licensure:
• Preferred Experience: One Year of Experience or previous on-the-job training or training through an Allied Health program.
• Preferred Certifications: CCT or CRAT through CCI or CET through American Allied Health.
• Preferred Other: Additional languages preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
